Thanks for the honest response and witty sarcasm.  I think I may have 
missed something within all 40+ of the "Re: Forum Suggestion" posts, but 
my topica account had somehow become disabled.  Fortunately, as of a few 
hours ago, my Topica priveleges have been reinstated.

FuseTalk will definetely work out well.  Anandtech has been using it 
with great success for quite some time.  I will be anxiously awaiting 
its debut.  Will there be an effort to convert the thousands of posts on 
Topica into a publicly accessible and, most importantly, easily 
searchable system?  Of the couple thousand posts I've had time to read 
over, the information contained in fusebox@topica is an invaluable 
resource that would be a crime to lose.

In any case, I would like to thank all those devoting what little free 
time they have to getting us all onto a better system.
