Title: RE: non-fusebox file or folder?

Simply don't call it through the root circuit's index.cfm and it won't be using the fusebox at all. Nothing will stop you from pointing the browser to yourdomain.com/user_circuit/standalonefile.cfm unless you have application.cfm setup to specifically block that from happening. You could also cfinclude it, etc. I think that's what you were asking no?
