Bob,

  I recently had to perform this conversion on one of my smaller db's.  
I exported the data from Access to MySql.

Problems I experienced:
-----------------------
1.  Data Types (be sure to check your fields)
2.  Queries (many queries that work in Access won't work in mySQL)

Again, this was a small db - not sure what other's people experiences 
are with the larger db's.
