Hey Chris. We just went through this a couple of weeks ago. The forum 
app is a great little app (thanks loads to Toby!), but the reality of 
our experience was that we had to do considerable tweaking. As others 
have already mentioned, we had to change virtually all of the pathing 
logic, and we also made considerable changes to the session code (we 
didn't want visitors--including spiders--to have to be logged in to READ 
the forums).

So, my advice is, brace yourself for the challenge (it'll be worth it 
when it's done--thanks again Toby!), and keep us posted on the list with 
your progress.

Oh, yeah--during heavy debug sessions like this, I highly recommend 
turning on all the debugging options in CF admin, so that you can get as 
much detailed info as possible about where/when problems are occurring.
