Thanks Rey and Shane. The DB is setup...now I just need to figure out how
to configure the rest of the files properly. For some reason it's giving me
a "Page cannot be displayed" error when I go to http://myserver/forum/.

Blessings,

Graham

http://yourserver/forum/scripts/act_setupTables.cfm

The default is set to msa, so it will build the Access tables for you out of
the box. Note that you'll have to define an (empty) Access db ahead of
time, make that a datasource in CFAdmin, and set request.dsn.forum = your
new dsn in the act_ script (line 20 or thereabouts).

Hope this helps,

Hi there,

I'm wondering if someone could explain how I need to setup the Access db to
use in FBOpenForums. I have downloaded the core files for the most recent
release (1.0 - stable), but can't seem to find clear directions on how to
setup the DB. Please advise.

Blessings,

Graham
