How about something like this?
On each page you keep all 12 of the main menu items.
Then, for the categories, add one link that will take you to a page with all
12 categories.
Then, for the date links, add one link that will take you to a page with all
the dates.
Perhaps this will give you a little cleaner wireframe while still providing
the functionality that you need to get the general idea...?
