Hi Tony,

fbx_Settings.cfm is only required if you set attributes.suppresserrors
to true. I believe it's a side effect of FB3's error handling. Improved
error handling is something that's definitely on the cards for the
official Fusebox core, however if you don't want to wait you can check
out Fusium's FEX (http://www.fusium.com) or Techspedition's FuseQ
(http://www.techspedition.com), both of which are extensions to the core
files which address error handling (among other things).
