Tony, the *top* level fbx_settings file is required. That is because it is where a <cfparam name="attributes.fuseaction" default="">
exists so that you can set a default fuseaction for your app. At the time (October 2001) the idea of putting ALL settings in the fbx_settings file rather than throwing the single default fuseaction setting into the index.cfm, seemed like a good idea. 50/50 on if it was such a good idea, but nevertheless it is something the Standards Committee would love to hear your thoughts on. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony Fenleish" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, May 19, 2002 1:40 AM Subject: fbx_Settings.cfm circuit file required > Several times I've created a blank fbx_Settings.cfm file in a circuit, > even though I don't need it, just so that the circuit wouldn't throw an > error when called.
