Actually, Fusebox is being used actively with PHP, J2EE, Perl, and who knows
what else.  And is it a "crutch" for non-OO languages?  Well, I think the
general opinion around here is that Fusebox gives you many of the same
benefits as OO, while being much simpler to use.

If you like, it's not so much of a crutch for non-00 languages, as for
non-00 minds. ;-)

This post was put on the asp_fusebox list and it made me really think 
harder about fusebox and how appropriate it is for other language 
platforms. Originally fusebox's strengths was that it would be used for 
other languages but clearly this is not being done actively. Now the
