We do not use java applets because they require a fresh download every hit to that
page. This consumes bandwidth and slows page display. There is also the issue that, as
you mentioned different cfgrids function slightly different... meaning we would have
to deal with those issues also. It is a good solution... but it also does not easily
match the look and feel of one sight to the next. We prefer creating our own grid
tools.

I had this problem with CFTREE. The only way around it is to make a change
to the core files.

I heard a while back that they where going to address this issue, not sure
if they have yet. I believe there is an issue with cfcontent being used with
in FB3. At least I have ran into it every time I have tried to make a fa
call that has any cfcontent tags.

Subject: Fusebox and CFGRID

Has anybody tried to use CFGRID with Fusebox? A coworker is trying it
and getting an error when the core file transfers variables from the
form scope to the attributes scope. CFGRID creates form variables in a
format that cause the isDefined function to choke:
__CFGRID__FRMMAIN__VARIABLE.

The error we got can be seen at the following location:

http://coldfusion.umuc.edu/FB3/errors/error.htm

Any ideas on how to deal with this without touching the core file? For
you standards folks, is this something to be added to the core file?

Thanks in advance,
Pete
