I don't use those whitespace stripping tags, they add too much processing time (regexp replacing is quite processor-intensive!).
Instead I declare <cfsetting enablecfoutputonly="yes"> in my index.cfm before fusebox core file include and use <cfoutput> blocks and <cfsetting enablecfoutputonly="yes">...<cfsetting enablecfoutputonly="no"> blocks to set how much and where should be outputted. Also sometimes I use the <cfsilent> tag to make sure that absolutely no output is generated. This way my generated code is always neatly together and there aren't any of those big chuncks of whitespace that CF sites usually generate. .erki ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bartee Lamar" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, June 11, 2002 11:39 PM Subject: how to use LessWhiteSpace > Ok, I down loaded Lee's less white space. > > Do you use it?? > > <cf_lesswhitespace>#fusebox.layout#</cf_lesswhitespace> > > I know I should be able to look at the source and figure out, but I seem > to be brain dead!! > > Bartee Lamar > www.enterpriseenergy.com <http://www.enterpriseenergy.com/> > MSN <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?bUrFMa.bV0Kx9 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
