yes and yes (but currently I am only running it manually - as root - for testing)

Can you eventually provide a sample of /proc/cpuinfo file content and the output of the
command "dmidecode --type 4" run on the same server ?

see attachments cpuinfo.txt, demidecode.txt. I could also send you the results of fusioninventory-inventory to your private address if you want. Just let me know.

I should see with that if there's a reason FusionInventory Agent can't detect
your CPU.

The CPU doesn't show on any server/PC, no matter what type of CPU it uses. Could it be that some Perl module is missing? There is no error message, though.

Hi Guillaume,

do you mean this is a new problem with 2.4.1 agent as previous agent versions
listed processor ? Do you have some computers for which processor is listed ?

This is the first time I use fusioninventory. I didn't try with older
versions.

The processor isn't listed on any of our computers

Have you dmidecode package installed on these servers ?

yes

Do you see any error on the output ?

no

Feel free to open an issue on our github repository:
https://github.com/fusioninventory/fusioninventory-agent/issues

I will do if you think it's a bug and not a configuration issue.

Cheers
frank

Objet: [Fusioninventory-user] Inventory does not list the processor

Dear all,

when running fusioninventory-inventory (v2.4.1) on our nodes, the
processor is not listed in the output (and subsequently not added to
GLPI). There is no error message when running
fusioninventory-inventory. This happens on AMD and in Intel servers.
Most of them are running CentOS 7.3.

I run fusioninventory-inventory in cron mode w/o using a configuration
file (e.g. with all values set to rheir defaults).

Any idea how I can debug this issue?

Cheers
frank
