So, my EDID dumps for two DELL monitors. They seem to use a funny EDID
Mixed serial.
DELL P190S
Printed S/N: CN-0G448N-74261-08G0RYS
EDID:G448N08G0RYS
DELL E190S
Printed S/N:CN-0CHRYK-74445-07U-AGUS
EDID:: CHRYK07UAGUS
Indeed.
And in both case, the 5-digits part inserted in middle of the ASCII
serial number was unrelated with the other EDID serial number, meaning
impossible to retrieve.
