Better later then ever... ;-)


Having FI in ''test'', we still do manual insert of monitors in GLPI,
reading S/N from the label (manually, or with the aid of a
'gun barcode scanner').

I've only note that on some brand (expecially samsung old CRT) the
printed S/N on label have some more chars respect of the S/N catched by
FI.
Eg, a Samsung SyncMaster 793s have on label:
        LE17HDBX777106D
but FI return:
        HDBX777106

Probably 'LE17' is a product number, the last 'D' a checksum?


Anyway, apart some these glitches, all previously (and manually) added
monitors was correctly ''matched'' by FI.
