Yes, this can be done.

If I understand correctly, your asking if FP can compose in a way that if one record of your database contained "Layout1" that it would automatically compose 500 times and then move onto record two of your database and process it X times based on "LayoutX".

To get started, download the "How to Repeat a Given Data Record a Given Number of Times" template inside Sample Jobs of the Knowledge Base available at Printable.com.

Or (the "low-tech" way) you could simply do it manually... manipulate your database to actually have 500 records all containing "Layout1" as data, after-which the next 250 records have "Layout2" as their data, and so on.

My personal suggestion would be to download the above repeat template and learn. This template taught me a lot about code and how to control it.
