Stephen,

I think if you could clarify a couple of things we should be able to
work this out. First off, how many pages are there in a document? It
sounds like there are 2 but I'm confused when you say that you are
composing 25 records into stacks of 50. It sounds like you want to
compose 50 records into 2 stacks of 25, in which case you would set the
stack to 25 in the first position and then set the second position
(either vertical or horizontal) to 2. You might want to take a look at
the composition log (.msg) file to see if it says anything about the
number of records not filling a stack and that the stack size has been
adjusted. Also, it sounds like each document is unique but you said
you're getting "copies" of each item so I'm a bit confused by that as
well. If you don't want copies, you want to make sure that the
"duplicate" check box is not selected. See if any of that helps and then
we can take it from there.

Bruce

'm trying to impose some documents 2-up on an 11x17 sheet
(duplex). I make
a record with a single variable (the item number) for each
document and
then set the stack count in PFImposer to the quantity that I
want printed.
That way when I cut the sheets in half I end up with a stack of
each item
        that I wanted.
I tried to compose 25 records into stacks of 50 and I ended up
with a 314
page composition. I only got 13 copies of each item before it
moved onto
the next two records. Also, it only makes one copy of the last
record
(instead of 13 like the others). I tried to double the stack
count to 100
and ended up with the same results. Then I tried it with a stack
count of
only 5 and it worked fine except for the last record still only
produced 1
copy. I tried this on two separate machines with different
versions of
Acrobat and it does the same thing on both.
Any ideas how to fix this? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need
to
        clarify anything?
