I apologize as well. I am dealing with a field in the data that has
multiple words, and not formatted text. So I am unsure as how to use the
space entities (&XXXsp) to accomplish the goal of increasing the
individual word spacing of text in a data field. I you can explain a way
to do this other then the method Alex referred I will be very thankful,
as my java script knowledge is equivalent to that of a toddlers
knowledge of calculus! I apologize again for any headaches I may have
caused.

Sincerely,

Well, if my post was misleading, then I apologize, but what I posted was
merely one possible solution, not necessarily THE solution. With Alex's
solution, you can get more precise control over the width of each space
using the <setwidth> tag than you can with the &XXXsp; entities. But
both his solution and mine will accomplish your stated goal. Someone
else may have thought of another solution altogether. Sometimes we
(Printable) do promote an "official" way of doing something, in which
case we should absolutely have our story straight, but in many cases,
there's more than one way to skin a cat.

Dan
