Thanks for the help, Lauren, but I am still getting syntax errors.
The script, based on your suggestion is this:
Var1 = (Field("Direct")
Var2 = "* Fax: "+(Field("FAX"))
if (Field("FAX") == "") && (Field ("Direct") == "")
return "";
else
return Var1 + Var2
The syntax error says " line 2, syntaxError; missing ) in parenthetical,
but I am mystified as to where to add the missing parentesis.
