We are running a job and it consists of doing b/w lasering on 2 sides of an 8.5 x 14 sheet. There are only 10-12 simple text variables total. We rip directly from fusionpro into our Creo rip using vps. We were forced to break up the 26,000 pieces into 1,000 piece chunks due to the rips processing power. Each 1,000 piece was 1.7gb making the total over 42gb (Our hard drive is only 100gb). When I get to half full on my HD it starts to freak out and makes us clear everything out.
My questions is about the file size, is it normal being that big on a simple b/w job? If so do we need a much larger hard drive? Total rip time was 3 hours we run the version of fusionpro before the new upgrade to 5.0. we have a dc8000 with a creo rip that is about 1.5 years old Any help would be approciated. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- FusionPro 5.0 Now Available!
