Hi forum!

I need to edit some text resources in my DEF file. I am removing text
formatting tags (font name, color, size). I open the DEF file in a text
editor, and make my edits. However, when I work on the FusionPro PDF, the
DEF is always reset to what it was! I have to go in and make my edits
again, just prior to implementation, which is uploading them to a
FusionPro Web PrintOne Store (actually I have to edit the DEF file in the
collect files).

I have tried editing the DEF file before opening the PDF, after, after
composing, after collecting, to no avail. The DEF always overwrites my
edits.

I KNOW this can be done - I did it a long time ago somehow. But I edit
these templates frequently and need a solution to make my changes stick to
the DEF. Can anyone tell me when/how to edit the DEF file so my changes
stick?

Thanks!
