I would write this rule as follows:
If(Field("Name") == "")
return "";
else
return "Dear " + Field("Name") + ",";

Hello there,
Can someone please help me with a rule
I have not had to write a rule yet in FusionPro and have never written
scripts before.
I plan to do all the tutorials, but have not had time yet. I have a postcard
with one variable ( Dear <name> ) at top. In my data file only half the list
has names, the others will be blank.
Can you run me through the steps to write a rule where the Dear wont show up
on the cards that have no addressee? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
