Dan,
Where is the pdf file(s) stored that you are trying to load? In the same folder
as the template? I sometimes use a separate folder for what I call
"intermediate docs", and enter that path in the rule itself...
var r = new FusionProResource("\\intermediateDocs\\" + Field("pdfUpload"),
"graphic", true);
or enter that into the "Search Path" portion of the Composition>Advanced tab
(the last tab of the composition menu/window). Simply declare it I the search
path as...
\intermediateDocs
If this intermediateDocs folder is in the same folder location as the FusionPro
template is then you don't need anything else.
The reason that FusionPro is returning a blank is probably that it can't find
the file.
Good Luck.

Subject: [fusionpro] RE: Question about importing multiple page PDFs as
resources
After creating a new graphic rule and placing in the below code I changed
the "pdfupload" field name to my field name "pdf".
When I go to validate the code however I get a Null Resource is undefined
error. I have added my resource pdf's to the job and I have the following
code both a page 1 version and a page 2 version setup in varying graphic
boxes but I am at a loss at how to continue as currently nothing displays in
either.
