Yes, Either in the path name where the graphic is made into a resource (the graphic rule), inside the data itself (you can include path names here as well), or in the Search Path entry of the Composition>Advanced tab. You can do multiple entries this way.
I had one client from a national bank chain that had over 2000 branch manager, director and vice president signatures that they wanted at the bottom of the letters that were created for each individual. It would have been silly, time consuming, and nerve racking to assign all 2000+ signatures as resources inside the FusionPro Template. Just having them all in one folder and that folders' path name assigned within FusionPro also makes it easier for names to be added or removed without the need to change the resources items inside the template each time (also very tedious and time consuming). As long as the signature was placed in the correct directory and the proper name was used in the data file to call that signature, updating was quick, dirty and totally hands off for my part. One caveat to using these signatures though...Since I had to place them within the body of the letter as inline graphics so they flowed with the letter, the signatures had to all be relatively the same size. If you are using it within a graphic frame, you will not necessarily encounter this problem. --- David A.
