FYI, I ran into this issue when I had two versions of the same font
being loaded... The letterspacing went whacky.. Look in the FONTS.INI
and fonts.err files to see if you have all of the faces of the family
loaded....
I had one, Universe, that was duplicated and NOT loading the Roman
version....
