You might need to change the "Save graphics/font to external location"
setting from an HFS path (with colons as delimiters) to a POSIX path
(with forward slash delimiters). You should be able to accomplish this
by simply clicking the browse ("...") button next to the text box and
then clicking "OK" in the resulting file dialog.
Some explanation: In the process of trying to keep up with Apple's
numerous architectural changes, especially the move to Universal Binary
for Acrobat 8, we have had to change the internal path specification
format in FusionPro from HFS to POSIX. When an older document is opened
in FusionPro 5.1 on Mac, we do iterate through many of the old-style HFS
paths and convert them to POSIX automatically, as you may have noticed
with your input file and resource paths. However, there are some paths
that have slipped through the cracks and don't get automatically
converted, especially in places like the advanced options for PPML. In
such cases, you will have to convert these paths manually as described
above.
We apologize for this inconvenience, and we hope to be able to improve
this file path format conversion algorithm soon. Eventually, all such
path settings in Mac jobs will be fully migrated to POSIX paths and we
will once again have only one kind of path specification to deal with on
Mac. And hopefully Apple will stick with this format for a while.
