What follows is from my own personal experience and is NOT an official
endorsement of any product.
With that being said, I've built some data files that have empty last
fields in some records. As you/we know, that causes problems in the
resuklting CSVor TXT file from Excel. I did the same thing using the
"Calc" application from OpenOffice, exported to a CSV file and have had
no problems with the CSV file.
If you want to test this yourself, download & install the OpenOffice
suit from www.openoffice.org, open an Excel file in Calc, and then save
it as a CSV file. Re-run the Data Definition Wizard and point to the CSV
file and re-run the job.
