The font files within the Windows system Font folder become corrupt. If
I remove the font from the system and try to add it again, it will
refuse citing an invalid or damaged file. I have to add a clean copy out
of my fonts backup. For PS fonts it specifically is the .pfm file that's
getting whacked.

And as Fusion Pro is the only app really running on the server, and the
corruption started immediately after installing 5.1, I'm thinking FP is
the likely culprit. Other than FP we only have Web services running and
occasionally Acrobat 8 when we need to examine a particular FP form.

Subject: [fusionpro] RE: Fonts become corrupt on Fusion Pro Server

Thanks for upgrading. Can you be more specific about exactly what
happens when these fonts become "corrupt?" What effect does it have on
composition? Do the installed font files actually get modified? Is
there any reason to believe that FusionPro is causing this corruption?

Thanks,
Dan
