I'm not familiar with what types of copyfitting are available. Let's say in one flow (which I understand to be a text frame) contains 3 variables from my input file.
<<headline>> <<description>> <<disclaimer>> <<headline>> is formatted with 72 pt font <<description>> is formatted with 36 pt font <<disclaimer>> is formatted with 12 pt font They are all contained in a flow named "english", on which the overflow is set to "Adjust text to fit" and "Allow text to expand to fit" are enabled. Then I have a second flow named "french" also set to expand and fill. It contains 3 variables <<fr-headline>> is formatted with 36 pt font <<fr-description>> is formatted with 8 pt font <<fr-disclaimer>> is formatted with 6 pt font After copy fitting the <<headline>> in the "english" flow could be larger than 100 pt font in which case I want the <<fr-headline>> to be 75% of the size of the english headline. Otherwise the <<fr-headline>> should be 50% of the <<headline>>. I know no other way to ask the question other than I need to determine the fontsize of a particular variable that has been copyfitted. Even if I have to do string matching that is fine. But I'm unclear as to how to determine the font size of a given text. The documents aren't clear on this. I hope this is enough information to help you understand what I'm asking. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- FusionPro 5.0 Now Available!
