Howdy todd -

I get this alot as well. Arial sneaks into quite a few templates that I make
without my doing. When working in the txt boxes I am now sure to select all
and then select the font that i am going to. Sometimes it is as easy as a
space at the end of variable insert that is in arial. Arial is the default and
it has to be selected then changed. That is may be happening here - arial is
just hanging around in a box somewhere.

The thing that is odd about the error is that arial is the default. (pc
anyway) And you don't even look like you are using it at all. And because of
that I don't think the error is actually affecting the composition - I have
several templates that I just leave with the error because it doesn't affect
the output. (can't find helvetica etc) Well hope that helps a bit. Go and
find it if you need to, or just leave it if it is composing fine.

I also have templates that use the specialized font that reports that it can't
find this or that style so a different style is loaded - but still looks good.
Well call me lazy but it if works - I just leave it and move on.

Subject: [fusionpro] CopyfitLine - Font Trouble

To anyone familiar with the CopyfitLine function...

I'm trying to copyfit a line, like so:

CopyfitLine( "", Field("EmailPrefix") + Field("EmailAddress"),
"FolioBQ-Book", 7, 96, 5, false);

but when I try to validate the rule, I get:

"uncaught exception: Error in function CopyfitLine:
Font <Arial> is not a loaded font. Using default instead".
But of course, I only get the rule in curly braces when I preview.

The font "Arial" doesn't occur in this document,
and in fact, no matter what font name I plug into my rule,
I get the same (or similar) message.
FolioBQ-Book is active, and fonts HAVE been loaded several times.

Any ideas?

Thx,
Todd
