Forgot to add...   When you said 730 pages, were these 730 single sided,
730 double sided, or 365 double sided pages...   If you were talking
about 730 double sided pages, the HP sees that as 1,460 pages and I can
see the RIP time you mentioned being real on a single Node RIP.

What was the sheet size as well?  8.5 x 11 takes a completely different
time to RIP vs. 12 x 18....

Just a suggestion.  We chunk out only 250 pages at a time to the RIP
(single Node, this has changed since upgrading).  We found that after
that  "chunk", there were significant increases to the RIP time.  The
250 page count usually takes us around 1 hour to RIP.  Where 500 pages
might take 3 - 4 hours to RIP.... 

You might want to test using different "chunks" to see how this will
effect the time.
