I am revisiting the same issue. Do I need tech support? I have been
working with a cloned drive that has damaged windows system files, and
obviously that needs to change (the sooner the better, work
permitting!). I was told I could simply reinstall fusion pro desktop
into a new drive / PC with my original serial number. The posts
regarding this topic lead me to wonder if it's as simple as that! What
will happen when my new installation uses the web to check for
validity? It will have my same informatrion, but it will be a new PC
and obviously the serial number was already looged in as installed when
I set it up initially (in what is now a cloned drive that needs to be
wiped and the OS reinstalled).
I've seen software that generates a kill code that gets "exchaged" for
a new serial / validation #. How does FP work in cases like this one
from jmchrislip & mine? Pls advise, as I'd like to do a reisntallation
when I can get tech support without too much down time (my hours are
odd and I assume tech support is not be open 24/7).
