My customer has a postcard and there are a few areas were the the text
and images are variable. The variability is driven by a database. The
issue is the image and text resources content will be edited by the
client and this can be done at anytime. I have 2 work flows and/or
questions.
1. The resource would be a text file on my clients servers. The text
resource is actually a formatted paragraph with color, different fonts
and sizes etc. The same could happen to an image as well. Is there a way
to create a FustionPro template, and have the resources link to our
clients server? I know there is the whole security and IT aspect to
connecting the 2 offices, but I would like to know if we took care of
the logistics, is this possible?
2. I need the text and image resources used in my FusionPro template to
be editable at any time by the client. Is there a way to streamline the
editing of a clients resources both image and text from the clients end?
So our client has a repository of formated text and images that they can
update at any time and when it comes time to use them we are guaranteed
we are using the correct one without us knowing if the client made a
change or not?
Your help and input is much appreciated.
