Some time ago Sally Lerner made a strong effort to get Robert Reich
to be a guest contributor to FW. Reich (now teaching at Brandeis and
sometime FOB and Secty of Labor in Clinton Admin) declined to participate.

I have just finished his book , 'Locked in the Cabinet' and strongly
recommend it to the group. It doesn't provide answers as much as it shows
just how difficult it is to get an orderly conversation going on the subject
of the future of work, even when you are Secty of Labor, even when you are
FOB (and friend of Hillary too). Reich naturally puts himself in the best
possible light, but the logjam of the public policy process is quite
formidable--even when you have a seat at the Cabinet table.

Reading the book one can imagine the sorts of answers, discussion
and conversation that Reich would have contributed to FW.
