I beg your pardon. When had been ever a marxist economist
theory put into practice?
No, the enforced cooperatives and unplanned
five year plans of non-democratic systems
had nothing to do with marxist theory.
I wouldn't blame capitalist economist any more that
any other people who due to their environment
/the absence of contrary information/ the lack of motivation to look
for such information, are supporting/ are not doing anything
about the present system. It is our formidable job to
make everyone - including economists - aware.
Economists - and politicians - cannot manoever the capitalist
system to work better, to function without growth, or to function in
a sustainable way. It is an impossible task, and I wouldn't be
surprised if most of them suspect this fact.
What they - and all of us need to be aware of is, that the
alternative - social appropriation and distribution to
follow the social production. The only way to stop
insane waste and achieve a real high standard for
everyone - which is a pollution free and stress
free living while achieving a full creative
individual potential.
