Just a quick note: looking for good in-depth information on the US midterm election, I found this site, which folks may find quite useful and informative:
http://www.uselectionatlas.org/ Unfortunately it seems to only show statistics for presidential and senatorial votes, at least that I have found, but otherwise it seems a rich source of well-laid-out data. I was mostly looking for percent voter turnout, based on eligible rather than registered voters, but so far that info seems not available for the current election.
