There's interesting sociology here - why did these themes fade away while other aspects of corporatisation were picked up. -why they were in written work much more than visual SF. Given how illiterate I am about science fiction, what is it that has surprised you from SF that has not occurred in terms of Social Change? The role of women? kwc
