Who are "we"?
And do "we" WANT to solve the distribution problem at all? (in a JUST way)
Those in power don't want to... those who want to, lack the power to do it.

Worse, those in power DID "solve" the distribution problem __for themselves__:
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

The so-called "crisis" or "meltdown" is the culmination of that -- not an
accident and not something they regret.
All those hundreds of billions didn't go to the moon -- they changed owner,
upwards.
George Soros alone won $3 billion in this "crisis".
The Madoff scheme wasn't an accident either, nor the action of a loner.

It would be the responsibility of economists to expose this, instead of
CONSISTENTly covering it up and fooling the public with lame excuses and
red herrings.

Only then can WE solve the distribution problem.

Chris
