If blackmail or threats are involved, the "green" org.s can call the cops,
and also conveniently exploit this for PR purposes against the corporations.
However, it is my experience that neither blackmail nor threats are
necessary, because the board members share a similar mindset with the
corporate bosses, or even "socio-economic" relations. There are even
cases where the corrupt cooperation was initiated from the "green" side!

In that case, the question is WHY such a person is AND REMAINS "the one
important person" on the board. If the other board members have integrity,
they can easily outvote or even throw out this one person, to prevent the
sell-out and maintain the goals of the org. But if most of them are like
this "one important person", then they'll instead outvote and throw out the
one person that actually represents the membership and supposed goal of the
org.!

Your attempts to make corruption look "just human" are not very convincing,
and you now admit that the sell-out can't be blamed only on the buyer side.

As in politics and other jobs with high responsibility and salary, the fact
remains that such "human weaknesses" don't belong there, should be a rare
exception and thus "outvoted"/overruled by a majority of professionals.
If that is not the case, then one has to conclude that corruption rules,
so these org.s don't deserve our trust and membership fees, no matter what
the lame excuses.

You can hardly expect a violinist to beat a gang of wrestlers with their own
methods!? No, of course a whistleblower has to use different methods, also
because the corrupt power tools are not even at his disposal. But when the
channels of communication are controlled by corrupt guys too, ......

I wasn't talking about "red heads" etc., but about the greedheads who run
the show in the boards of "green" org.s -- and to suggest that this highly
self-selected and non-representative small sample would have the usual
(i.e. same as the general population) Bell Curve distribution of greed,
flies in the face of empirical observation, statistical logic and
behavioral science.
