Thanks for your comments Chris. I believe Mike Hollinshead and I speak
rather fully about this in the article "Crossing the Divide" that I sent you
and the list. Thank you again for your comments.

... per temple or per village?
Even the Aztecs' own sources say it was much more than 1 per day --
and not "rain or shine", but greatly varying from occasion to occasion.

Anyway, it's not important whether they sacrificed hundreds or tens of
thousands per year. What matters is that they sacrificed humans at all,
including children and POWs. There can be no justification for this
barbarism, and I'm disappointed that you defend it.

But unlike Gurstein, I do NOT apply Sippenhaft and blame "the Aztecs"
in general, or even you as a Native, for the deed. I acknowledge that
Predators -- their religious leaders -- did it. And I can distinguish
this from their Producers' great accomplishments in agriculture,
construction, water engineering and the arts.

I understand very well how that fits: In capitalism too, Predators
-- the high priests of mammon -- provide the sacrificing ideology and
force the sacrificing on decent people.

If we want to stop human sacrificing, we have to identify those who are
responsible. It seems you don't want to do that, but instead you defend
them, or throw red herrings like an anonymous "capitalism" (i.e. the
"invisible hand" that perps like Soros hide behind). This way, you help
to perpetuate the sacrificing.

That is all the merit of Producers.

Some mailing lists block attachments that may contain viruses. In fact,
this is yet another example where Producers have to suffer from Predators.
