Obviously I meant "tax break" not bread. Also "they give it all away" is a pipe dream. They don't treat artists or Indians well and we have been giving it all away for five hundred years. All we got was abuse although Cherokee Christians tend to believe that they are the only true Christians on the planet because they do believe in the gift.
I think we should do neither but work for balance and equality for every living being given their needs. Don't call me a communist because communists only believe that for humans. Also there is the problem of all of us feeding on each other and how to reconcile that. The wealthy and the Chinese communists have solved it. They don't. All people should have the ability to follow the path of the elevation of their competency and the development of cooperation to extend beyond their inadequacies. What the Baptist gentleman could answer first is the problem of the oxymoron in the phrase "Prince of Peace." Peace requires equality not princes. It's a horizontal structure rather than a vertical one. The vertical structure is a war management structure, not peace. They don't pay their bills on time. They are pain in the royal butt unless you sell them a trinket. Services are just awful at collecting for. They have a game called "strategic giving" where they try to get everyone else to pay for some charity or cultural activity that they want to have. It's why giving them a tax bread is a waste. They will do little for the economy except move the money elsewhere. If you are not rich, you are being taken advantage of by the rich.
