Thanks, Ray.

Right now I am in Tunis, and trying to sort out the overwhelming contradictions
between how Americans and Europeans see the world (with increasing pessimism,
for example) and how the people whom I meeting here see it (with considerable
optimism and initiative).

Is it just a matter of the effect of the leveling of the world? Having been so
long on top, Americans and Europeans feel that they are losing, relative to the
rest of the world, and the rest of world, having been down so long, see
themselves now catching up. Will we all meet in the same middle somewhere, but
the Americans and Europeans grumpy, and the "Third World" folks with a smile on
their faces?

Lots of questions emerging from my inquiries here. It is all good....

Cheers,
Lawry
