I read last week that after Pearl Harbor, in one
of his radio addresses, Franklin Roosevelt told the
American people to go out and buy maps of the
world. A lot of maps were sold pursuant thereto.
Kids (and adults) today don't seem to know much "history".
But does this vignette suggest that their
grandparents didn't either?
