All this is part of capitalism - a system in which, like socialism, decisions are made by leaders - not to confused with the free market, where decisions are made by the people.
I hate to say this, Brian - you might not sleep tonight - but we seem to be ironing out differences.

So are you Harry: missing the point. Do you remember a speech Ike gave back in 1961 as he was getting ready to leave the presidency? It had to do with the Military-Industrial complex. Are you trying to tell me General Electric, Boeing, Macdonald Douglas... and the Pentagon aren't buddies? Did you know that GE didn't pay a dime in taxes last year?
Carefully,

Brian,
You are still at it.
You say:
"Also re the decline of the American Empire: will they decline peacefully or might their arsenal of nuclear weapons, chemical weapons and biological weapons come into 'play'."
Are you suggesting that the "arsenal of nuclear weapons, chemical weapons and biological weapons" are owned by entrepreneurs?
Do you believe that these awful things are not government produced, government stored, and government implemented?
Do a little thinking about capitalism (or socialism). And don't mix it with the free market.
Take special care!
Harry
