The pictures speak for themselves -- you don't even have to read the text. Everyone who is regularly watching the news can easily verify that the first 2 pictures are the usual Osama images broadcast everywhere, whereas the 3rd picture is from the "confession" video. Also, I strongly doubt that Afghan women think it's fun to stumble around in a bag they can hardly see out from. It seems more likely that they continue to be forced to wear burkas in the same way that under the new regime, the stoning is done "with smaller stones" and those who were hanged are left hanging only 15 minutes instead of 4 days (under the Taliban). In a word, cosmetic changes in an archaic regime. But the US could care less -- what matters is that the pipeline finally gets built.
