Lawry is quite right. Further, the Egyptians have a culture 5,000 years of age or older. At the same time, most Egyptians live in 7% of the land making it one of the most densely crowded areas in the world. You can call Egypt as overdeveloped. Their only salvation has been, like Haiti, an excellent school system which allows them to export teachers in large numbers. The teachers repatriate dollars to allow their families to survive.
Iran, although just as old, is underdeveloped with a lot more in natural resources than Egypt and more of a future.
