Karen, Since writing a few minutes ago I picked up this week's issue of the Economist. In the Special Survey section (on the world economy) I have just read the following:
<<<< . . . most economists are still predicting robust economic growth of 3 - 3.5% over the next twelve months. Many of these are ther same economists who in the late 1990s dismissed the idea that America was experiencing a bubble, and who insisted only last year that the economy was not heading for a recession. They were wrong then and are likely to be wrong again. . . . >>>> Keith ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------ Keith Hudson, General Editor, Handlo Music, http://www.handlo.com 6 Upper Camden Place, Bath BA1 5HX, England Tel: +44 1225 312622; Fax: +44 1225 447727; mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________________________________
