Bill, The Florida election officials in the contested counties were all Democrats. They were the ones who created the "butterfly ballot" that afterwards received so much criticism. They are the ones who made chads a household word. They are the ones who changed the "chad criteria" in mid-count when Gore wasn't getting enough votes. They are the ones who chose black Democratic area samples to prove an undercount while staying away from the Hispanic Republican areas for their samples.
They also dragged in to the vote a lot of people who they forgot to tell how to use the machines. Bet that doesn't happen again. I'm sure that W would enjoy sending them to Iraq. Of course when they got there, they would first have to find out who was supposed to win.
