It is amazing how few people have been hurt in the destruction of Saddam's architectural empire.
This. perhaps because the bombing has been at night - deliberately to ensure minimum harm to people. I suppose the writer hasn't noticed how relatively untouched the people of Baghdad are. The lights are on and the people seem to be going about their business. They seem to have come to a conclusion that the Americans are bombing Saddam and not them.
This is not to say that people are not going to be killed. The Republican Guard and the young thugs are part of the Saddam "family". They live or die according to the health of Saddam. There was a report this morning from the troops that they are occupying hospitals and firing.
So, the American troops are in a quandary. If they fire back, they may harm patients. There will be a lot of this. I suppose the writer will whine about Americans when he should whine about the legacy of Saddam's reign.
So, Devorah, I have no idea why you thought this nonsense was worth disseminating. It's purpose is to inflame passions with lies and has just enough connection with reality to make it's dubious point. However, if you enjoy inflammation - here's some.

It is important to know about the Fidayi. They are in every Saddam's private army, a para-military reporting directly to him and not through the army chain of command. There may be anything from 40,000 to 60,000 of them and their fortunes depend directly on the fortunes of Saddam.
They are the Iraqi involved in the heavy fighting for bridges that is taking place at this moment.
