I would verbalize the same sentence, but perhaps mean
something somewhat different by it than you do (It's
a shame we cannot have a full day face-to-face discussion

i.e., second-order-/meta-agreement,
whether or not with first-order agreement.).

Husserl's philosophy recEdes ever further into a
future we are not likely to realize (although
the Norwegians, Swedes, Germans et al. may have
a bit better chance if they don't try too
hard to be like "us")....
