The session managers create the environment variable SESSION_MANAGER. We can
use a test that look for this variable and create the button only if it is
present. After, depending for the recipe in use, some panels must be shifted or
not. It is what I have done and it work fine.

I done something similar for the notification area width. As example, Nebulae
use a fixed width for this, and as I was doing a preference setting for
stalonetray, I made it to work too with trayer in Nebulae.

But I can put the gnome-session function in the menu. I put it in a button
because it is actually 2 functions: LMB will save the session, MMB will launch
gnome-session-properties. With this last program, the sessions can be edited as
well as the gnome-session properties. It is an option to tell gnome-session to
save the session at logout without any user interaction. I hate this, but some
users may like it. As gnome-session already have this feature and a preference
for this, I don't think at it will be good if Crystal is saving the session at
exit time. It will 2 times the same functions.

But what is needed is the possibility to save the session at anytime and the
possibility to launch gnome-session-properties. If we put it in the menu, I
think at the best place will be the lower part of the exit menu, where "new
session" and "new nested session" are. Or maybe better, make a new section
between the 2 existent ones.
